Whittington | 2018

These four met me one chilly Sunday morning and we’re total troopers for a quick session. With mama’s babies getting so big, she wanted more than anything to capture this time in their lives. I love mama’s choice of outfits and the mix of Fall tones and prints. Each style fits each personality and it made for a very happy trio of kids.

Thank you Whittington tribe for trusting me with these special keepsakes.

Lotus Hair | Hair By Andrea

oh, this girl. She is a total girl boss and a force to be reckoned with. Andrea contacted me for a specific kind of headshot session for product and content images for her upcoming website launch. She has worked tirelessly on an amazing hair extension line and it’s INSANE! I know because this girl took care of my mop and I’m in L O V E!

We met downtown and Andrea is a total babe so made my job easy peasy.

currently booking small business sessions.

Knox turns f o u r | dinomite

well, my baby boy is officially four. We celebrated with friends + family at Crashworks STEAM Studio + Makerspace in Downtown Wichita Falls. Kids played in dinosaur-themed sensory bins with mud, paint, and shaving cream. It was a glorious messy blast.

Lauris Sweet Shop worked her talented magic yet again and created these almost too-good-to eat cake and cookies for my Blu loving boy.

This was the first birthday of Knox’s that he’s really known what’s going on. He’s been talking and planning with me for months.

Birthdays are always bitter sweet. My babies have a blast but they

become less and less babies.

Lex David | Arrival 2018

Visiting this brand new family of four completely made my day. Spending time with them is always fun and Laiken is a ray of sunshine that is good for my soul.

Lex David’s arrival was much-anticipated and he didn’t disappoint. His mama, big sister, and daddy are a crazy in love with this blondie who is probably one of the most alert babies I’m visited. He didn’t want to miss a single thing.

It’s also a little bittersweet that this is the end of our mama journey capturing this milestone for the Choate’s.

Thank you for trusting me to capture and show you the story you created.

oh mama. I dont really have words to justify describing this session with the Choates. Mama is one of my faves and always knows exactly what she wants. My kind of girl!

After a couple of rainouts because Texas weather, we met for a late afternoon on their vast land to capture this sweet time. Four-wheel drive and forgotten shotguns for the rattlesnakes were involved but that’s totally normal, right?

This family always brings their game face and rocks their entire session.

welcome to the jungle, ollie j.

oh, how we are so excited to finally meet our Ollie J. I was lucky enough to be a part of his arrival and it’s something I will always treasure. He has dark hair and long fingers. Looks a lot like my Knoxy boy. Mama did an amazing job laboring and dad said “it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be.” Yes… I gave him a sideways look.

Despite photos, as long as it swaddled and snuggled, he’s happy and snoozing. We’re all a little obsessed with him. Even Knox loves his baby “Allie”. Can not wait to see these babies grow up together!

Lanes | Fall 2018

well hello there. A little update on my crazy wild mama life. Sawyer started second grade and Knox officially started a new “school”. It’s small town daycare near Sawyers school. It saves me an hour of driving a day and not to mention he’s like a completely different kid since he’s started.

We’re down to no crying at drop off. He cried almost every single day last year. He loves his friends and hugs everyone goodbye. It’s been such a game changer for us and this mama is thankful! KT also started his first ever sport… soccer. Let me preface by saying…. I’m not sure how I agreed to this. But I did. He talks about it all the time and then cries and refuses to go on the field for the first two quarters. It’s adorable and brutal.

Sawyer is doing Fall Softball (Sassy Eagles!), drill team, and tumbling. She loves the football games and thinks the cheerleaders are sooooo cool. I have no idea where she gets this from. She’s enjoying reading and spelling most of all.

For me, I’m just their chaffuer and snack b*tch. It’s that mama life and I’m thankful I get to be present during this season of life.

Jerms has started a new job (no, he’s not back home) and I am crazy googly-eyed proud of him. I can not wait to see his furry face at Thanksgiving…. maybe even Halloween! This November we’ll be celebrating 10 years of existing together. I dont even know how that happened.

We also welcomed a new little cubbie into our world. My little beastlies are officially big cousins to Oliver James born Sept 26th. We are all a little obsessed with the little bug!

That about wraps it up. Thank you for checking in!
